[LISTEN] 2021 CCHS Hot Dogs, Cool Cats Photo Contest Now Underway

January 7, 2021 By WRFA Leave a Comment

JAMESTOWN – WRFA’s Jason Sample talks with Brian Papalia from the Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS), which kicked off the Hot Dogs, Cool Cats Pet Photo Contest on January 1.

All animal lovers are encouraged to upload a photo and story of their favorite furry friend for online visitors to vote on. The contest, presented by Happy Hounds Hotel & Day Spa, with media support by the Media One Radio Group is running through January 30th at 9 p.m. There is a $10 donation to enter.

The 10 photos with the most votes will artfully appear on CCHS Social Media and Chqhumane.org.  The winning pet will also receive a $100 Visa gift card, a $100 Crown and Paw gift card to have a special item made with their pets photo, and a pet photography session with Cathy Panebianco of Panebianco Photography. There are also prizes including Visa gift cards for second and third place.

Everyone is encouraged to visit Chqhumane.org and participate. Votes are $1 each and the money collected through the competition benefits the animals at CCHS. Visit Chqhumane.org to learn more about the HDCC Pet Photo Contest and to vote.   The contest is also presented by Howard Hannah Holt Real Estate, Brookdale Senior Living Solutions and Media One Radio Group.

The mission of the Chautauqua County Humane Society is to improve and save lives through compassionate care, advocacy for animals, and commitment to the community.
