JAMESTOWN – City road crews will try once again to finish paving a section of West Second St. this weekend.

City Director of Public Works Jeff Lehman says that W. Second St., from Washington St. to Main St., has been rescheduled for paving this Saturday. The street was originally scheduled for paving last week but wet weather prevented crews from finishing the project.

As a result of the roadwork, all vehicles must be moved off the street and out of parking lots if they are to be used that day by no later than 7:00 a.m. The road will be closed during the paving project. Motorists must use an alternate route of travel.

Lakeview Avenue, from Falconer Street to Crossman Street, will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, September 22, 2014, until further notice to allow for road reconstruction.

Motorists must use alternate routes of travel and, as always, motorists should use extra caution while driving near this and other construction areas.
