The Chautauqua County Master Gardeners’ Help Desk officially reopens today at Jamestown Community College.
The Help Desk will operate every Wednesday from noon to 2:00 p.m. through the end of September, providing community members with reliable, research‑based horticultural assistance. The desk is located just inside the northern entrance of the Carnahan Building.
Residents can contact the Master Gardeners in multiple ways:

Master Gardeners are available to help with a wide range of gardening topics, including:
- Troubleshooting common garden and landscape problems
- Identifying invasive species and providing management guidance
- Recommending trusted local resources and services
- Plant identification
- Soil health questions
- Free pH soil testing
In addition to weekly service hours, the Help Desk will also be open during the Master Gardener Plant Sale on May 16 at JCC.
