JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and G. Patti Development, LLC will host a ground breaking ceremony this afternoon at the First National Bank Building (former M&T bank) on the corner of Main Street and Third Street.
According to city officials, the purchase and development of the former bank location is the first of its kind to utilize tax credits since the establishment of the city’s new downtown historic district.
The event will announce the building’s future occupants and feature representatives from various organizations and funders who’ve helped to breath new life into the property.
The ground breaking will begin at 2 p.m.
