The Downtown Jamestown Gateway Trainstation

The Downtown Jamestown Gateway Train Station will host an employment exploration event for the local Hispanic community on Tuesday, June 2.

JAMESTOWN – The Hispanic Coalition of Chautauqua County is partnering with local employers to hold two Employment Exploration Events in the county.

The first event will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Jamestown Gateway Train Station and the second will be held on Thursday, June 4 at the SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave. in Dunkirk.

Those attending will have the opportunity to speak with employers and receive tips on interviewing, resume writing, how to dress for success, and other useful skills for job seekers.

Both events are free and open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Both start promptly at 9:30 a.m., and participants will be asked to arrive by 9:15 a.m. to register at the event.

Translation services will be available for Hispanic community members. Seating is limited. Those who attend will be entered for a chance to win a $50 TJ Maxx gift card, one prize per location.

For more information about the Employment Exploration Events sponsored by the Hispanic Coalition of Chautauqua County, please contact Katie Geise of Chautauqua Works at (716) 661-9553.
