MAYVILLE – A Jamestown man accused of participating in a large-scale heroin distribution network turned himself in at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday after an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Officers say 51 year-old Timothy Jay Watson was one of the subjects of the recently successful Operation Bundle Up probe of Southern Tier drug dealing. He is accused of recently selling heroin to undercover agents in both Jamestown and the Town of Ellery.
Watson was charged with counts of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail pending further proceedings in County Court.
