Jamestown PROMISE Fund Donates 415 Rain Ponchos to Schools to Kick Off Winter Clothing Drive

Jamestown PROMISE Fund Advisory Board Chair, John Zabrodsky, delivers rain ponchos to Ring Elementary School. The Jamestown Schools PROMISE Fund donated 415 rain ponchos to all Jamestown schools to protect children in rainy weather. The PROMISE Fund will also be starting a Winter Clothing Drive on October 4th at the JHS Homecoming Football game at Strider Field from 6 p.m. to kick-off. Bring your gently used, or new, winter coats, boots, gloves, hats & scarfs to help Jamestown kids.

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Schools PROMISE Fund is donating 415 rain ponchos to all Jamestown Schools.

The rain ponchos will be given out by each school to protect children in rainy weather.

In addition, The PROMISE Fund is kicking off their Winter Clothing Drive on Friday, October 4 at the Jamestown High School Homecoming Football Game next to the main entrance gates near the concession pavilion from 6 p.m. to kickoff. The Fund is asking the community to bring gently used or new winter wear including coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarfs to be given to Jamestown children.

The community can drop-off gently used or new winter wear at every Jamestown school in the designated bins through November 4.
