MAYVILLE – Jury selection for the first of two trials involving the double murder of Frewsburg Couple in April 2013 is now underway.

According to Time-Warner News, two jurors were selected in the murder trial of Davide Coggins, one of four men charged in connection with the killing of Gordon and Joyce Skinner at their Wheeler Hill Rd. home in the town of Carroll. Coggins is charged with first degree murder, along with arson and burglary.Investigators say the two were tortured and killed inside their home before it was set on fire.

In addition to Coggins, three other men were also charged in connection to the crime – including 22 year-old Joshua McCormick and Ricky Knickerbocker and Steven Todd – both 18 years-old at the time of the murders.

According to Time Warner, Todd and Knickerbocker have already taken plea deals, while McCormick is expected to go to trial early next year.
