[LISTEN] Arts on Fire – Strange Allure Interview with Steve Lafreniere

JAMESTOWN – A new art exhibit is now open to the public at the Reg Lenna’s 3rd On 3rd Gallery.

Strange Allure is an exhibit of recent art and photography by 15 artists from the western New York region, a number of whom have not exhibited in Jamestown before. While the selection is widely divergent, a through-line emerges of work that is both formally rigorous and ardently subjective.

The show was curated by Fredonia artist Anthony Leone and Jamestown graphic artist Steve Lafreniere, who has curated two previous exhibitions including “These Are Days: 10,000 Maniacs 1981-2011” at 3rd On 3rd Gallery.

Strange Allure will be open from 10am until 4pm on week days through Friday, June 6.
