48 year-old Richard Matt and 34 year-old David Sweat escaped from a maximum security state prison in Clinton Co., NY during the early morning of Saturday, June 6.
CLINTON COUNTY, NY – A $100,000 reward has been issued for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of two men who escaped Clinton Correctional Facility in Northern New York State.
Escaped inmates 48 year-old Richard Matt and 34 year-old David Sweat are considered to be a danger to the public. They were first unaccounted for during a 5:30 a.m. bed check on Saturday, and executed an elaborate escape plan.
More than 250 law enforcement and corrections officials are actively searching for the inmates.
