LAKEWOOD – A sweet event is happening this weekend and next weekend across Chautauqua County.
The annual Maple Weekend promotion is taking place and residents are invited to stop by participating maple producers to learn more about the process of making maple syrup and also support their business.
Maple Weekend is a collaborative marketing event in which producers from across New York State open their doors to the public in order to increase awareness of the maple industry in NY.
In Chautauqua County, both Fairbanks Maple Farm in Forestville and Big Tree Maple in Lakewood will be holding events both weekends – including free tours, demonstrations, and pancake breakfasts.
