May 18, 2015 By WRFA Radio Leave a Comment

2013 wrfa logo_cs6_round_redWRFA is making some changes to our weekly program schedule.  Starting Monday, June 1, listeners will notice several new programs along with some reshuffling of our hourly schedule.

Most notably, we are moving our Local Rush Hour program to 4pm weekdays. Our 5pm hour will focus on entertainment and local public affairs programming and will be known as the “Drive Time Variety Hour.” The entertainment programming will continue into the 6pm hour with a variety of both syndicated and locally produced live music programs.

Individual programs that will see a new time slot include: Philosophy Talk (1pm Fridays); The Adam and Sheridan Show (2pm Fridays); Le Show (5pm Mondays); Community Matters (5pm Thursdays); Arts on Fire (5pm Fridays); Rolling Hills Radio (6pm Fridays); Discarded, Recycled and New (7pm Thursdays); and Inroads (8pm Thursdays).

And there will be several new programs added to our line up, including: Chautauqua Sunrise (1pm Tuesdays); StarTalk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson (11am Fridays); City Arts & Lectures (1pm); The Splendid Table (10am Tuesdays); Celt in a Twist (6pm Saturdays) and World Beat Canada (7pm Saturdays).
