WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample
WRFA would like to announce that Jason Sample has been tapped to serve as the station’s new Director of Public Affairs. Jason will be replacing Kase Kinney, who recently took a position with the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
As Public Affairs Director, Jason will work to bring various local and regional issues and stories to the listeners of WRFA. In addition, he will also assist in providing daily news updates on the station, as well as work with and assist the various volunteers who help to provide locally produced programming.
Prior to arriving at WRFA, Jason has worked as a marketing and media consultant, editor of The Chautauqua Star and Bulletin Board newspaper, and served in various capacities with the Media One Group radio company in Jamestown. Jason is also a trustee with the Chautauqua County Historical Society and a board member with the Infinity Performing Arts program in Jamestown. He’s served as a volunteer at WRFA since November, 2008.
