Audit and Control Committee Meets This Morning, Will Discuss County Home Funding

MAYVILLE –  The Chautauqua County Legislature’s Audit and Control committee has a full agenda when it meets this morning in Mayville.  Among the items to be discussed is the tabled resolution involving the Intergovernmental Transfer Program (IGT) funding appropriation of the Chautauqua County Home. Lawmakers tabled that measure last month in order to get more details on the home’s financial situation for the remainder of this year and into next year. The grant would allow the home to receive federal funding, if the county were to provide a matching fund as well. Today’s meeting begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Gerace office building and is open to the public.
