Body Found in Little Valley Creek Under Investigation

LITTLE VALLEY, NY – Authorities in Cattaraugus County are investigating the death of man whose body was found in Little Valley Creek Tuesday afternoon.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s office says 30-year-old Kyle Michener was found in the creek at about 12:25 p.m. Tuesday in the area of South Court St. in Little Valley.

Police have not said if the death was suspicious in nature, although both the sheriff’s office criminal investigation team was sent to the scene. The cause of death remains under investigation, pending the outcome of an autopsy.
