A new director as been appointed to the county’s Veterans Service Agency.
Acting County Executive Stephen Abdella Monday announced that he has appointed Gary Chilcott as the new Veterans Service Agency Director.
Chilcott is a retired Colonel of the U.S. Air Force, where he served for over 28 years. He previously served as an Air Force JROTC Area Administrator from 2004 to 2011.
Chilcott begins his new position this week and he is replacing former Veterans Service Agency Director Doug Diers, who resigned from his position in August.
