JAMESTOWN – City officials are notifying the public of an upcoming street closure in downtown Jamestown.
According to Jamestown public works director Jeff Lehman, a portion of N. Main St. from 2nd Street to 3rd Street will be closed starting tomorrow and continuing into the middle of next week.
The closure is taking place to allow for cold milling and overlay. The Department of Public Works and Board of Public Utilities will close down the north bound travel and parking lanes to facilitate road reconstruction.
Motorists may experience delays when traveling through the project area and may wish to use alternate routes of travel.
