JAMESTOWN – A city man has been arrested after allegedly shooting a deer with a bow and arrow within the city limits.
Jamestown Police say 22 year-old Tyler LeBarron, 22 allegedly shot the deer Monday morning near his home at 95 Ellicott St. Police say they were called to an area of Shaw and Oak Streets in the city for a report of a deer that had been shot and were able to back track the trail to LeBarron’s residence. Police say when questioned, LeBarron admitted to shooting the animal.
LeBarron was charged with hunting without a license and illegally taking a deer and will appear in court at a later date.
