City Police Investigate Double Homicide, Searching for Suspect

UPDATE (4:45 p.m.) : SUSPECT NOW IN CUSTODY

JAMESTOWN, NY (Dec. 12, 2015) – The Jamestown Police Department is currently investigating a double homicide at 235 Barrows street.

According to a media release sent out at 12:17 p.m., investigators are searching for 51 year-old Allen P. Witruke, who is believed to be operating a 2009 Chevy Impala color silver with NY Plates GTY 5855.

Police say the suspect may be en route to the state of Wisconsin. Suspects whereabouts are unknown at  this time.

Media reports say the double homicide took place at the Barrows St. address at about 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. No other details into the incident – including the names of the victims or the circumstances involving the homicide – have been released.

Anyone with information into the incident is asked to call the Jamestown Police Department at (716) 483-7530.

Please forward any info on the suspects location to the nearest law enforcement agency.
