JAMESTOWN – One of the two individuals wanted in connection to a forgery investigation in Pennsylvania is now in police custody.

Jamestown police say 28-year-old Jordan T. Adams was located at a residence at 13 Axtel St. in the city on Thursday and sent to the city jail. Adams was wanted in connection to 27 counts each of forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, theft by deception, retail theft, conspiracy to commit theft by deception and conspiracy to commit retail theft.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police in Warren, who claim Adams allegedly used and exchanged counterfeit $50 bills and several different locations – including the Warren County Fair in August 2014.

Police are still looking for a second individual – 35-year-old Christine Redding, also known as Christine Snow – who is also allegedly involved in the forgery incidents.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Redding (Snow) is asked to contact Warren-based state police at 814-728-3600, Warren County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-832-7463 or their local police department.
