The Jamestown Parks Department will begin picking up discarded Christmas trees for recycling on Wednesday, January 3.
Residents are asked to place their tree on the terrace between the street and sidewalk and, if possible, to keep visible should a large snowfall occur.
Christmas lights, plastic bags, and tree stands must be removed from the trees before putting them at the curb.
