JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police are still looking for the person who called the New York State Police at Jamestown on Jan. 22 to report a car off the road on Riverside Rd.
The vehicle belonged to Michael Whitehill, a 48-year-old Jamestown man who was last seen Jan. 22. The caller said he had seen a man walking on Riverside Road near the area where the Firebird went off the road. Investigators say the caller may have other important information that could help their investigation. Anyone who has information can call the Jamestown Police Dept. at 483-7531 or the TIPS line at 483-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
Whitehill was last seen sitting inside his disabled vehicle on Riverside Road near Route 62 in the town of Kiantone.
