Jamestown High School’s 2026 production of “The Pirates of Penzance” has received multiple nominations for Shea’s Performing Arts Center Wonder Awards.
The musical has been nominated for:
– Outstanding Production of a Musical
– Outstanding Leading/Supporting Performances (Amaya Thompson, Matthew Johnson, Hayden Langford, Rya Giuffre, Samuel Mathis)
– Outstanding Collective Ensemble Performance
– Outstanding Collective Vocal Performance
– Outstanding Student Led Orchestra
– Outstanding Costume Design/Execution
– Outstanding Hair and Makeup
– Outstanding Musical Direction
– Outstanding Direction
The cast will perform a medley from the musical on the main stage at Shea’s on Saturday, May 16.
