JAMESTOWN – Students from four countries completed the three-week summer 2015 English Language Immersion Program at Jamestown Community College in early August.
The class of 2015, taught by Suzanne Knowlton and Kiersten Hansen, included 22 students representing Japan, Mexico, Spain, and Tunisia.
Offered on JCC’s Jamestown Campus since 2008, the intensive three-week program includes focused instruction in reading, composition, speaking, and listening, as well as American culture.
This summer’s activities included visits to Chautauqua Institution, Niagara Falls, Presque Isle, the Chautauqua County Fair, and the Roger Tory Peterson Institute.
