MORNING NEWS: City Council Holds Committee Meetings, Work Session Tonight

The Jamestown City Council will be meeting tonight in City Hall and for the first time since last August the city’s Housing Committee will meet. The Panel will meet at 6:45 p.m. to discuss issues related to the county Land bank. In addition to the housing committee, the city’s finance committee will meet at 7 p.m. and the public safety committee will work at 7:15 p.m. A work session for the full council is also set to take place at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
