JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man is in city jail after being arrested on drug charges Wednesday.
City police say 29 year-old Joseph Zaso was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at the intersection of Cole Avenue and South Main Street. According to police, investigators and members of the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team made the traffic stop at 11:20 a.m. Zaso, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of 3 ounces of cocaine and $2,000.
Police also say the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
