The City of Jamestown Parks, Recreation, & Conservation Department has recently installed a new DogiPot unit in “The Grove” park at the corner of Cherry and West Second Streets. The DogiPot unit contains plastic bags that dog owners may use to pick up after their dog and a receptacle for easy disposal in accordance with the City Code.
City officials remind residents that they are required to pick up after their pets so that everyone is able to enjoy the parks, even in the winter when it doesn’t get frequent use. Under City Code, residents can be ticketed and fined for not properly cleaning up after their dog.
