JAMESTOWN – A local business in on the east side of Jamestown has received a low interest financial boost form the County Industrial Development Agency to help it expand its operation.

On Wednesday County Executive Greg Edwards and his development staff toured the EMC FinTech plant, located at 1400 E. Second Street in Jamestown. The group also presented EMC FinTech Manager Eric Corey with a $65,000 check from the IDA’s Revolving Loan Fund, which will be used to help pay for renovations to the building to enhance the flow of work, creating a better work environment for its employees to allow them to efficiently produce product, and upgrade distribution to its customers. The funding will also be used to pay for equipment purchases for the project.

EMC FinTech is in the business of providing tooling for the heating and cooling industry. The company designs, builds, and supplies machines and tooling that produce custom specialty parts for this industry. The industry is responsible for all radiator, condensers, oil coolers, heater cores, and other items related to heating and cooling applications. The company’s major product is roll die tooling that is used to create fins for radiators.
