The James Prendergast Library in Jamestown
JAMESTOWN – There’s just a week remaining for any area resident who are interested in applying to be a board member for the James Prendergast Library Association. The library board is seeking applications with a deadline by next Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Interested individuals must reside in the greater Jamestown area, possess an active library card and have an interest in the library and its future. They cannot be current or former employees or relatives of current employees.
The eleven-member trustee board meets at 12:15 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the library. Applications are available online at www.prendergastlibrary.org or can be picked up at the circulation desk of the library.
