The Reg Lenna Civic Center will begin its season this weekend with the start of a movie series. Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom will be presented to the public Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. The director of “Rushmore” and “The Royal Tenenbaums” turns his quirky eye on a 1960’s youthful romance between a Boy Scout and the girl of his dreams.
Also, don’t forget that Legendary bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs will make his Jamestown debut on Saturday October 13 at 8pm. Skaggs will perform with his longtime band, Kentucky Thunder.
