JAMESTOWN – Five area residents face drug-related charges after a lengthy investigation into the sale of Heroin in Jamestown.
Members of the Jamestown Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit along with the JPD SWAT team made the arrests at 442 Buffalo St on Monday afternoon. Among those charged were 33 year old Russell Bales, 28 year old Joseph MacNamara, and 20 year old Ryan Baker – all of Jamestown – along with 27 year old Mark Dzielski of Brocton and 21 year old Christopher McMillen of Youngsville, Pa.
According to police, investigators seized a large quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, money and drug paraphernalia. The approximate street value of the drugs was estimated at $10,000.
All five subjects were charged with two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count each of criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and one count each of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Bales was additionally charged with one felony count of criminal nuisance.
