The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are investigating numerous daytime burglaries taking place throughout the County – but mostly in the North end of the County. In a media release sent out over the weekend, Sheriff Deputies are asking the public to be observant for any suspicious vehicles or subjects in their neighborhood, especially if the subjects knock on your door and ask for a specific person or that they are delivering a package for a specific person.
If anyone sees any suspicious vehicles or subjects in your neighborhood or around your neighbors’ house, the Sheriffs Office is asking you to call the Sheriffs Office or your local Police Department.
