DUNKIRK – The hearing for the Dunkirk Woman accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend last week has been adjourned until next week in Dunkirk City Court.
28-year-old Rebecca Ruiz was charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of her boyfriend, 21 year-old James Duman. Ruiz allegedly shot Duman through a door, claiming she thought he was someone else trying to get into their home.
Ruiz’s attorney said he will also file a bail motion and request it to be set at $100,000 cash.
