December 6, 2016 By WRFA Leave a Comment

arson-0120-jpgFALCONER – A Salamanca man has been arrested in connection to setting a structure fire that broke out last Thursday at a manufacturing plant in Falconer.

Ellicott police say 23 year-old Michael Rucker is accused of setting several fires at TitanX Engine Cooling Inc. on Allen St. Extension.

Police apprehended Rucker a short distance away soon after the fires were set. He’s been charged him with second-degree arson and obstructing governmental administration.

Rucker was arraigned in Ellicott Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.

During the investigation, it was found that several fires had been set inside the building. No injuries were reported.
