CHERRY CREEK – Police are also continuing their search for a Cherry Creek woman who was last seen six days ago.
According to police, 56-year-old Karen Christian, was last seen leaving her home at 7891 Plan Rd. in Cherry Creek during the early morning of June 17.
Christian is a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches, and weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to the Jamestown Post-Journal, more than 60 searchers and numerous K-9 teams from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police, as well as environmental conservation and forest rangers, participated in the search the day after Christian went missing. A search continues in the Cherry Creek area, although at a much smaller scale than before.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 753-4907.
