About the Show
James Barrington was born in Liverpool England in 1960, growing up with the Beatles and Mersey sound, he was always going to be a music fanatic. With a love of Radio in him, he emigrated to Australia in 1977 aged 17. By 1985 he entered into Radio in the state of South Australia and produced his Flashback to the 60’s program, with moderate success, however the program was ahead of its time.
When his children were born in 1989 he walked away from radio and moved to the state of Queensland in the tropical north.
He built his radio studio at home and was happy for it to collect dust. In 2022, for fun he put together his old radio program and sent to several radio stations. Within 12 weeks his Flashback to the 60’s program is now heard around the world.
