JAMESTOWN – Allene Spearbeck of Dunkirk has begun serving a term as the student representative to the Jamestown Community College board of trustees, a post to which she was elected at the end of the spring semester.
Mrs. Spearbeck, who studied at Arizona State University, is a member of JCC’s Planning Advisory Council, Non-Traditional Student Club, and peer mentor group.
Mrs. Spearbeck is majoring in human services and plans to pursue a career working with veterans. She is a student assistant in JCC’s Counseling and Career Development Center and is interested in motivating other non-traditional students to be successful at JCC.
A graduate of Westfield Academy & Central School, Mrs. Spearbeck is the daughter of Pauline Martindale and the late Harold Martindale Jr. of Westfield. She and her husband have three children, Joseph, Angela, and Kyle.
