MAYVILLE – The sentencing for three of the four men involved in the 2013 Carroll Double Homicide is expected to take place today in County Court.

The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting that Joshua McCormick, Steven Todd and Ricky Knickerbocker – all from the Elmira Area – are to be sentenced later this morning. The three men, along with ringleader Davide Coggins, drove to the home of Gordon and Joyce Skinner in April 2013 and killed the couple and set their home on fire during a home invasion.

The three men being sentenced today all faced a number of charges, including a second-degree murder charge, but reached plea agreements with the DA office before a trail could take place. Each is expected to face a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Coggins went to trial last fall and was found guilty of two counts of murder. He’ll be sentenced on Feb. 23.
