Two Arrested on Drug Charges Following Friday Morning Raid

JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown men face charges after police reportedly found heroin and cash inside an East Second Street building late Friday morning.

According to city police, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET executed a search warrant at 212 E. Second St., Apts. 1 and 8 at about 11:30 a.m. Friday.

The apartments were located across the street from the Jamestown Police Department.

Officers charge 21 year-old Luis Angel Cintron Rosario and 25 year-old Juan Aponte Sierra. Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are currently being held in the Jamestown City Jail.

Anyone with information on the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown area is asked to contact the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force anonymous Tip Line at 483-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
