Two City Men Arrested Following Sunday Morning Burglary Investigation at Moose Club

Jamestown Police BadgeJAMESTOWN – Jamestown police arrested two individuals Sunday morning following an investigation into a burglary at the Jamestown Moose Club.

Jamestown Police say officers were sent to the Moose Club at 405 E. Fifth St. at about 6:15 a.m. after an alarm had been set off. On arrival, officers heard subjects moving around inside the building and as they continued to check the exterior, they witnessed two people leaving the building and running from the scene. The two were eventually caught by police and were identified as 24 year-old Kyle Lauritson and 18 year-old Cody Boisvert. Police say when Lauritson was arrested he also had burglary tools on his possession.

Both were charged with 3rd degree Burglary and 3rd degree criminal mischief. Lauritson was additionally charged with possession of burglars tools while Boisvert was charged with obstructing governmental administration.

But were sent to the city jail to await arraignment.
