JAMESTOWN – An ongoing investigation into the sales and trafficking of .narcotics in the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, the NYSP CNET, and NYSP K9 unit to execute a search warrant at 945 E. Second St. Friday morning at approximately 8:45 a.m.

Inside investigators located two subjects in the apartment, along with a small child.

Search of the apartment revealed more than 28 grams of Cocaine, a quantity of marijuana, illegal fireworks, and more than $9,000 in cash.

Investigators also located a malnourished dog, chained to a pipe in the basement of the location. Police say the dog appeared to not have access to food or water for some time. Officers took the dog, along with a second dog, from the location and brought them both to a shelter.

Arrested were 30 year-old Eric Reese and 28 year old Nichole Farrar, both of Jamestown. They were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (3rd degree), Endangering the welfare of a child, and cruelty to animals. The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
