DEMOCRACY NOW! TO RUN AT 1 PM, FOLLOWING REMOTE BROADCAST
JAMESTOWN – WRFA will once again be broadcasting live from the Univera Downtown Jamestown Farmers’ Market throughout 2014.
Starting Thursday, June 5, Public Affairs Director Jason Sample will be broadcasting from the Farmers’ Market near the intersection of 3rd and Cherry Streets. We’ll interview market vendors, representatives from the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and members of the community.
The broadcasts will take place from noon to 1 p.m. twice a month, on the first and third Thursday, from June through October.
As a result of the broadcasts, the popular Democracy Now! show will not air at its regular time during the days we do our live downtown remote. Instead, the show will air immediately following our broadcast at 1 p.m.

The Univera Downtown Jamestown Farmers Market will take place on Cherry Street between Third and Second Streets every Thursday from Noon to 6 p.m. The farmers market is coordinated by the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation.
