JAMESTOWN – State Police in Jamestown are working with several other law enforcement agencies in investigating and cleaning up a suspected rolling meth lab discovered during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
According to State Police, on Tuesday at 1:30 a.m., troopers initiated a traffic stop in Jamestown at Sixth and North Main Streets. While interviewing the occupants of the vehicle, police say meth making materials were located. Police say 26-year-old Sean Barrett of Dewittville and 22-year-old Morgan Keech of Stockton were arrested and were each charged with for Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd (D Felony), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Driving While Intoxicated and
Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) arrived to remove the dangerous materials from the scene.
Barrett and Keech were transported to SP Jamestown for processing. Both are being arraigned in the City of Jamestown.
