JAMESTOWN – Portions of two streets in the village of Lakewood will be closed between 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, to permit replacement of a water line by Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Water Division employees.
East Summit Avenue will be closed between Southland and Shadyside. Southland Avenue also will be closed between Shadyside and First Street. Water also will be off on Southland between Shadyside and First while repairs are made.
Discolored water may be expected from 4 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday morning after water is placed back in service.
