JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Babe Ruth World Series Committee is looking for Hostesses for the Babe Ruth World Series to be held August 15 to 22.

This will be the 16th time the Jamestown World Series Committee has hosted a World Series since 1980. To celebrate, they have several events planned for the 35th Anniversary of the first ever 13 Year Old World Series.

This year’s tournament will involve players aged 13-15 who will be competing for the title of World Series Champion. Hostesses are needed to serve as ambassadors to the World Series and the players. Hostesses must be a resident of Chautauqua County and be of the age 13.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the tradition of the World Series in Jamestown, please contact the Babe Ruth World Series Committee by visiting www.jamestownworldseries.org.
