JAMESTOWN – Five people were arrested on Tuesday on charges related to methamphetamine possession following a narcotics raid in Jamestown.

Jamestown police say members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executive a drug raid Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. in a basement apartment at 20 Bush Street, following an investigation that revealed that the location was allegedly being used for the sales and trafficking of crystal methamphetamine.

Once inside, police found several adults inside the apartment, along with two small children.  One person, identified as 50 year-old Delbert Clark, allegedly fled the residence and was apprehended several blocks away following a foot chase. Clark was found to be in possession of a replica pistol, along with a small amount of meth.

Others arrested in the incident were 33 year-old Jeffrey Rigerman, 24 year-old Cassandra Cole, 33 year-old Heather Diaz, and an unidentified 18 year-old. In addition to drug charges, both Rigerman and Cole were also charged with child endangerment.

All individuals were sent to the city jail to await arraignment.
