JAMESTOWN – The Greater Chautauqua-Jamestown Airport Robert H. Jackson Field will be hosting its required emergency response exercise on Saturday.
Fluvanna Fire Department, Chautauqua County Office of Emergency Services and Chautauqua County Airport will join with local fire departments, ambulance services, law enforcement, WCA hospital and others to conduct an emergency response exercise.
The exercise is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to noon on Turner Road north and east of the Jamestown Airport. Turner road will be closed from Girts Road to West Oak Hill from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. where only local traffic will be permitted.
The exercise is required every three years.
