JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Solid Waste customers whose garbage is normally collected on Thursdays should place their trash and recyclables at the curb after 6 p.m. Thanksgiving evening for pick-up on Friday, November 23. The recyclables for the week are plastic, metal and aluminum. BPU Customer Service will re-open for business at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 26.
