FREWSBURG – Carroll Police are looking for the driver of an SUV that reportedly struck a motorcyclist and drove off Tuesday.
The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting the incident occurred around noon when a black-colored GMC turned into the path of the motorcyclist at the intersection of Route 62 and Ivory Road near Frewsburg.
The rider of the motorcycle was knocked of his motorcycle; he suffered minor abrasions and an ankle injury but did not require medical attention at the scene.
Town of Carroll Police believe the SUV was being driven by a white female. The truck had gold New York state plates and black rims.
Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run is asked to call Carroll police at 490-8419.
