JAMESTOWN – Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep stars with Hugh Grant (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Bridget Jones’ Diary) in the historic comedy, Florence Foster Jenkins, Saturday at 8pm at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. Admission is $5.
Set in 1940s New York, Florence Foster Jenkins is the true story of the legendary New York heiress and socialite (Meryl Streep) who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great singer. The voice she heard in her head was beautiful, but to everyone else it was hilariously awful.
Florence Foster Jenkins is rated PG-13 and is 111 minutes long.
